09 Jun Summer Watch List: Our Next Projects

Ahhh….summer.

Every year we look forward to these long, sunny days. Call us crazy, but we love living in Phoenix, even during 100+ degree temps. It’s our cross to bear for living in paradise the other 9 months out of the year, right?

We love summer because there just seems to be a bit more time. More time in the day. More sunlight. Cooking is easier: don’t mess with the oven, just slap the chicken on grill. No one’s in town, so let’s go with a top knot and sandals. Easy.

The work, though, stays mostly the same, when we are lucky. Because even when everyone is off on their summer vacations, there are still homes to renovate.

And we have three of them! Three very different homes will be coming to the market in the coming months by our team, and we are excited to share a little about them.

Our New Remodels Coming This Summer

Paradise Valley/North Phoenix

The first on the line up is a sweet little home right off Thunderbird and the 51 Freeway. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and just under 1,200 square feet.

As renovations go, this is a complete disaster zone with all the work going on. I’ll keep it brief here, but be sure to follow us on Instagram Stories for special sneaky peaks!

We love this home, and it’s going to be a perfect fit for someone special! There are all kinds of surprises in store, and without giving too much away, I can tell you that the master suite will be amazing! Plus, the laundry room/drop zone we are designing has us practically giddy!

Projected Completion: Mid-July, 4-5 weeks from this writing.

North Phoenix

We just acquired our two-story home in North Phoenix, off 16th Street and the 101 Freeway. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a bit bigger right around 1,850 square feet.

The moment we walked into this house, we loved the downstairs living areas. Design is still in progress with this one, and we can’t wait to share what we come up with! Plus, it has a gorgeous (and very tempting!) pool that is waiting for a very special spruce up. 🙂

Projected Completion: Late-July, 7(ish) weeks from this writing.

Central Phoenix

You’ve probably seen this one floating around on our Instagram, and it’s because we are so excited for it! This is a cute mid-century gem in the Central Corridor, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and one hell of a master suite in the works. (Pardon my French!)

Standing in front of the home today, it is almost completely unrecognizable from this “before” image!

We just loved all the crackly old wall paper, and chippy old windows. 1950’s home, for ya.

This home also has a private pool, and the backyard view has a piece of the Downtown Phoenix skyline. Every bit of this home is getting a bit of love, and it is TORE UP right now!  I don’t want to give away too much, but the 8-foot+ kitchen island is going to be the stuff. of. dreams.

Projected Completion: Iffy. Late July/Early August, ~8 weeks from this writing.
