05 Apr Roses & Rosé: Stefanie’s Bridal Shower
Oh. My. Gosh. You guys, I blinked, and suddenly there are only about three weeks left before our wedding! I am knee deep in the final details of wedding planning, and the end can not come soon enough. While it’s been a fun and wild ride, Bryce and I are so ready to officially tie the knot!
Things have been so crazy around here that I haven’t had the chance to share about my beautiful bridal shower from two weeks ago. My mom helped me put together the most beautiful shower, and we had the best time! I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with the ladies in my life that mean the most to me, including my best friend in the whole wide world, Makayla, who flew in from Reno for the occasion. The day was more than I could ever have imagined!
Stefanie’s Roses & Rosé Bridal Shower at The Orchard
Instead of bridal shower games, I chose to host a DIY flower crown shower at Luci’s at the Orchard. Luci’s has been the anchor of Uptown Phoenix for years, at their original location on 16th Street and Bethany. For years, Bryce and I would swing in for coffee or lunch several times a week, since we worked right up the road. When their new location at The Orchard opened last summer, I knew immediately that I would host my bridal shower there.
The Orchard is made up of Pomelo, their full service restaurant; Luci’s, their cafe and marketplace; and Splurge, a boutique candy and gelato shop. The rounds are lush and beautiful with a big grassy courtyard, leafy green trees, and twinkling lights. We work from here several times a week, and it is absolutely the perfect location for any occasion! Our shower was held in The Barn, one of their private rooms. The structure has enough space for a crowd, and barn doors that open up into the court yard.
A Special DIY Flower Crown Bar
I knew for a long time that I wouldn’t want bridal shower games at my shower. Because I knew that many of my guests wouldn’t know each other well, I wanted everyone to be comfortable, so I thought that a group activity would be a great alternative! A flower crown bar seemed like a perfect fit.
Our friends at My Little Posy made the process so perfect and simple! When we arrived to The Barn, Nezza and her team had this gorgeous table all laid out and ready to go.
These cute signs gave us simple step-by-step instructions, but the DIY crowns were easy enough! We got to choose from beautiful varieties of flowers, greenery and filler.
For lunch, we had an assortment of pizza and salad, and yummy snacks like focaccia bread and olives. We sipped on a yummy cocktail called a “Bellisimo”, with champagne and grapefruit juice. Delicious!
After our beautiful crowns were made, we moved on to a little activity planned by mom. All my guests took a card and wrote down their favorite memories together, and it was such a special moment to reminisce. We laughed about silly times on vacation, special occasions spent together, and old childhood memories. As I looked around the room, it was wild to reflect on how all of these different, amazing women found their way into my life.
After gifts, the party came to an end, and then we all took our favors of a little bottles of rosé. We also had yummy cake pops gifted to us by my sweet friend Lizy. A few of us lingered back for another cocktail (or two!) and enjoyed the gorgeous evening out on the courtyard.
Rosé all Day!
It was a wonderful day that I’ll never forget, and I am so grateful to all the wonderful women that celebrated with us! And of course, to my mom, for throwing the most beautiful shower I’ve ever seen. (Biased? Maybe!)
